He picks up on new disciplines very fast and only after his second year of FMX he showed up at the Red Bull X Fighters in Poland for speed and style in 2008. Gilles has always been up to try new things. After seeing Marc Coma in the Dunes of Dubai, flipping the Rallye bike seemed like a good idea.

Everything was set for Madrid in front of Coma’s home crowd. Coma says; “I have to tip my hat to Gilles. Never in my wildest dreams would have I tried that. I’m glad my bike is still in good shape.” Gilles is happy that everything went pretty smooth. “You can’t compare the handling with an FMX bike. You really need to work it hard. Marc was a lot of help during the preparations. He showed me in Dubai in April that you can do tricks with a Rallye bike. I leaned pretty far out the window by betting that I could do a backflip with his bike.”
